How to Work Through the Curriculum
As you begin the program, we want to share with you the best way to navigate the curriculum. The following will ensure streamlined learning and success!
• Following the yoga teacher training in order is required. Each learning section builds upon the previous one.
• Please watch and read every element of the program.
• Each video must be viewed in full in order for you to proceed to the next item in the curriculum. Fast forwarding through a video will prevent you from moving ahead. Please take your time, as every video has valuable information and teachings.
• Take your time and pace yourself. This is not a race.
• Your program includes a number of assignments. The assignments are strongly recommended. There is no need to "hand" those in as this is adult education, and we hope everyone is trying to work through all segments. The assignments are situated throughout the program so that they all work together to help you better prepare for the practicum. You can always revisit them later, but please do try to do what you can before considering the practicum teaching.
• Video lectures, workshops and tutorials will auto-play once you enter that section of the program. Depending on your internet connection, it may takes a few seconds for videos to load.
• All lecture notes are downloadable. You can download them as you go or choose to print full manuals that are in the last section of the curriculum. Some students are comfortable simply viewing the e-version. The choice is yours! Video lectures are not downloadable.
• Be patient and have compassion for yourself. The study of yoga is no easy task, but it is worth it.
